Google, the biggie, announced today of releasing of Video Ads on the website where it caters to image and text based link advertising. Google identifies the huge market for television advertising and thus implemented the much talked about video ads.

New Worm in Yahoo! IM
This time it’s the Yahoo! Instant Messenger (IM) users who are under threat from a new worm that installs a rogue Web browser called “Safety Browser,” and hijacks the user’s Internet Explorer homepage.

Now even more to “Yahoo!” about..New page, New Look!
Yahoo! is planning to overhaul their home page look. The new look according to me is great. It reflects that AJAX has really arrived. The new homepages’ sleek and sharp looking template has well placed features and linking to all major Yahoo! features. The homepage, features a new Digital Personal Assistant made up in good looking AJAX and with which people can access popular features including weather forecasts and movies by moving their mouse over an icon. Other offerings such as My Yahoo! and email are found through buttons near the top and on icons on the left side.

New Google Notebook - Exploring the Unknown.
There’s nothing particularly great about this tool, at least in its initial form. It’s not terrible although I can’t connect to my Notebook at the moment - probably because everyone on the East Coast is banging on Google’s door trying to get a Notebook set up right now. It’s just not great.
